It was nice getting to know the wine regions. We took a nice trip. Go between the Loire Chateaux and Bordeaux, Poitou-Charentes region is easily reached by train or road from Paris and stretches inland from the Atlantic Coast. Wine lovers will be good on this trip. See an area of lush, green countryside that includes the rolling vineyards of Cognac Country. Tasting is just a daily thing! Enjoy the Champagne Truffles.
